Mirror Me
Emotions are central to human experience, shaping our actions and decisions. 'MirrorMe' blends emotional and speculative design, transforming human emotions into unique jewelry pieces while exploring the relationship between AI and craftsmanship. Through this process, AI serves as a tool for inspiration and overcoming creative blocks, though the project reveals the need for boundaries to preserve the authenticity and emotional depth of human-made jewelry. From research to final creation, emotions guide every step, demonstrating how AI can amplify personal expression while maintaining a meaningful connection to the craft.
Stimulating confidence through clothes
This research project explored the impact of body image and societal perceptions of physique by investigating how simplified geometric shapes in garments can influence emotional confidence and perceived social attitudes. It examined how body shape stereotypes shape self-perception and how fashion can challenge these norms by altering the silhouette.
It focused on the psychology of geometric shapes and the effects of color and pattern on the human form. The key research question was: “How does altering the garment silhouette affect the wearer’s confidence and their perceived portrayal to society?”
Additionally, it explored how geometric shapes might retain or shift traditional body shape perceptions and the difference in judgment between online and offline environments.

DiNa
Digital devices have been developing so much in the last few years, and they are now a big part of our daily routine. Computers are the primary source to study for most students. However, they also bring side effects, with one of them being alienation between humans and nature.
DINA, is a nature-related project that aims to reconnect people with nature and create a healthy distance between them and digital devices. The project includes samples of natural elements representing the connection that each teammate has with nature. The product is a neutral looking LED matrix that intensifies the samples' natural experience with various light animations. The users get to choose their own samples that bring or will bring them closer to nature and use it to disconnect from the digital. This will result in the minimization of screen time and a stronger bond between the users and nature.
