User & Society

As a user-centered designer, I focus on understanding how people interact with products and systems, considering both their functional needs and emotional responses. I have expertise in research through design, using methods like interviews, surveys, and workshops (such as Magic Machine), along with quantitative analysis through data collection and user feedback. My work in Design for Debate broadened my perspective, teaching me to design for "non-humans" and other living systems, and consider a broader range of relationships beyond human users. This experience made me question the designer's role and the influences behind design decisions, helping me approach design in a more inclusive and holistic way. This ensures that my solutions are not only meaningful but also impactful in everyday life.

In addition to creating user-friendly designs, I aim to foster a sense of belonging and positive social experiences, particularly for vulnerable groups like the blind and elderly. I focus on addressing both individual needs and broader societal concerns.

Working on Project 3, which focused on sensitive topics like body dysmorphia, taught me how to tackle complex and personal subjects with care and empathy. This experience strengthened my ability to design with emotional sensitivity and deepened my understanding of the importance of respecting users' emotions in the design process.
